ARTitectonics: The Game of Aesthetic Contention
1980 | Silkscreened and printed paper, cardboard, Plexiglas, wood ; box, 16 x 12 x 2.5 ins.
A ‘PRODUCTION PROTOTYPE,’ this game of aesthetic contention challenges one player, the “artist,” to create a successful composition while his opponent, the “critic,” attempts to disrupt it. Determining who wins is obviously the real challenge. The game was never put into production.
